About Fontarôme Chemical

Fontarôme established itself as a manufacturer of pharmaceutical intermediates with the construction of its original facility in 1984 in St. Francis, Wisconsin. As the subsidiary of a multi-billion USD international pharmaceutical company, Fontarôme naturally acquired substantial and key expertise in the development and production of fine pharmaceutical intermediates, and soon thereafter, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).

As a registered Drug Manufacturer with the US Food and Drug Administration for over 20 years, Fontarôme has synthesized and scaled up hundreds of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs and is currently providing products to a select listing of big and emerging pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Dr. Michel Combe
From the beginnings of Fontarôme, Dr. Combe has been the backbone and essential contributor to the company. He is currently a Distinguished Research & Development Chemist and Special Advisor to the President of Fontarôme and is recognized as one of the best process development scientists in the industry.

Carl Sheeley
As the President and sole owner of Fontarôme, Carl Sheeley recognized the potential for growth and seized the opportunity to purchase the companies (Fontarôme Chemical, Inc. and FCI SAS) in 2004. Sheeley has proven that his instincts were correct having led the company in its exponential growth since taking over.
